- How long will it take me to pass?
- The DVSA average is about 45 hours of professional lessons plus 20 hours of private practice. Most of our pupils sit their test between 30 and 50 hours. If you want a fixed timeline, take the intensive course.
- Manual or automatic — which should I learn in?
- Automatic is faster to pass in and removes stalling from the equation, but a manual licence lets you drive both. We’ll talk through what suits you on your first lesson — no pressure either way.
- Do you pick me up from home?
- Yes — anywhere within five miles of 1358 Stratford Rd, Birmingham B28 9EH. That covers most of south Birmingham and into Solihull. We can pick up from home, college, work, or anywhere else that suits.
- What car will I learn in?
- A modern hybrid — dual-controlled, fully insured, and easy to handle. Smooth steering and good visibility for new drivers.
- What if I need to cancel a lesson?
- 48 hours’ notice and there’s no charge. Life happens — just let us know as early as you can so the slot can be filled.
- Do you teach nervous drivers?
- Especially nervous drivers. A lot of our pupils have had a bad experience elsewhere or with a family member. We start slow, on quiet roads, and only push when you’re ready.
